The Event-Related Potential signal is derived from a common EEG signature where it represents a cortical (brain surface) response to an event or stimulus.

The architecture of Shiva sessions suggests that this signal is more likely to elicit response from the right hemisphere than the left.

This signal should be considered as untested. If you are not comfortable using untested signals, don’t use this one. The very few reports from this signal suggest it’s a good way to elicit quite general effects from the structures below the coils. For Shiva, this means general cortical effects.

You need personal trials and experimentation are needed to find out of this signal is good for you.

It’s a good idea to begin with shorter sessions when beginning to use any signal.
